Friday Newsletter: №9

Hey Friends and welcome back to my 9th Friday Newsletter!

Every week I’m sharing: One Insight, One Source and One Question which I found particularly striking or useful, so you can read, reflect and take action.

This one will be dedicated to “the next big thing” in social media space to grow your business + focus to get there.

Weekly insight

Focus & consistency are necessary in order to achieve great results and today's most important skills.

We all know - the World today is fast, so we need to set up and protect our boundaries. Focusing on fewer things makes us more fulfilled and productive.

“Easier said, than done” - that’s for sure, but there is a solution: better awareness —> which leads to better decisions and results.

In fact, without having this awareness, we tend to keep ourselves constantly busy without measuring the actual impact of our actions.

I invite you to reflect on the following questions:

  • What's the ONE project I should focus to 10X my leads (or any other important metric to you)?

  • What's the ONE person I can call to 10X my business/career opportunities?

  • What's the ONE course I should buy to accelerate my business/or professional growth?

5 rules of thumb (which I'm following now):

  1. Set clear priorities for yourself: what is really important to you in each area of your life?

  2. Don't work on more then 3-4 priorities at the same time

  3. Make "no" your default answer

  4. Make the process of achieving things enjoyable for yourself. Change the routine if needed.

  5. Set hard constraints for the opportunities you take on.

It would mean a world to me as I care about this Newsletter project and want to bring value to even more people. THANK YOU, friends!

Weekly Source

I love looking into trends and analysing “What is the next big thing” in the media space (apart from AI of course).

One of the most promising social networks today (with impressive organic growth and business oriented audience) is LinkedIn.

I see that some people already succeeded there and I believe it the next “big thing” for those, who want to grow their audience and convert them into potential customers.

Here is super useful video (with great instructions and insights) on how to grow your LinkedIn to 10k and 100k subscribers with no $ investments, so I highly recommend to watch.

Some great ideas from Matt Gray below:

  • Your LinkedIn profile should be: clean, competent and confident

  • If you want LinkedIn to recommend your post to a larger audience and go viral, the posts engagement should be high: reposts and comments are the most important.

  • Don’t add external links to your posts, as LinkedIn doesn’t like when you lead your audience out of platform.

  • Start any post with the hook (the first 3 lines), so people click on “read more” and don’t scroll further. This is super important!

  • Use images or any useful information, which people would love to open, read and again - ideally repost.

I encourage you to stop thinking of LinkedIn as a social network only to “find a job” - it is a great place to build your global network of professionals, who might be interested in: 1) working with you, 2) invest in you or 3) buy a service from you!

Weekly Question

Many of the happiest moments in life happen when the group is having fun. You feed off one another's energy and sharing great moments together.

Today I invite you to reflect on the following question:

  • Instead of asking: "What would make me feel happy?" try asking: "What would make the group excited and when shall we organise it?"

Let’s stay connected!

Looking forward to be in touch with you all and connect again in the upcoming Friday newsletters! Wish you all a joyful day!
